The BEST Rodeo!
Don't take our word for it, the Professional Cowboy Association (PCA) voted this rodeo, the Josiah Johns Memorial Rodeo, the 'BestNew Rodeo of the Year' in 2005. This year, it's back, BIGGER and BETTER than ever! You'll see all the TOP cowboys and cowgirls in the PCA, riding broncs and bulls, ropin and bulldoggin and, the award winning Marki Rodeo Company bucking stock!
Red hot rodeo action will kick off at 5 PM, with the gates opening at 4. The rodeo will take place in the beautiful, fully covered Fred Smith Arena, located in the middle of the authentic early 1900's Seminole village in the Brighton Reservations festival grounds.

After the Rodeo, take advantage of the low-priced concessions featuring great food, and, have a picnic! While you eat , you'll be treated to musical horseback entertainment by Bruce Austin. Bruce has performed at rodeos, western events and resorts across the southeast, you'll instantly join
the thousands of spectators who have become Bruce Austin Fans!
If you are worried about the traditional 4th of July companion, the mosquito, WORRY NO MORE! There will be a free BUG SPRAY station set up where you can receive a complementary spray.
After the show, it's FIREWORKS TIME! This annual display has been known for years by area residents as the biggest, most massive fireworks show on the lake, and this year, it's even BIGGER! The rockets will light up the sky starting at 9 PM.
