Tanglewood Newstalgia New Years Eve
Here's what happens when two newstalgia bands meet 600+ happy spectators
(who don't even have to drive home) on New Years Eve
Dan and Steve and I worked opposite each other 30 minutesfor each act. We tossed a coin to see who opened, luckily, I won the coin toss, and went first, I didn't have to follow them right off the bat. At midnight, we all got  together and finished up the night jamming together.

Some special moments from the evening included:
  •   Newlywed Dan introduced his drop-dead- totally gorgeous-eye-catching- WOO-WOO-snort-howl-at-the-moon (err, did I mention attractive,) new bride.
  • Fred and Debbie Moore performed a few wonderful tunes with me, Debbie's torch songs captivated the men, and Fred nailed an uptempo newstalgia version of 'Chattanooga Shoeshine Boy.'
  • Victor Grande' blew some jazz and dixieland flueglehorn on a few tunes as well, and sounded, well... GRANDE'!
  • The entertainment buyer for Tanglewood, Marilyn Metalflake, (err, I mean Blakey,) announced her retirement from that position.
  • Steve joined me on the 'Bob Song' singing harmony like he'd known the song all his life.
