Dr. Bob and Kat Clark are a husband and wife duo. He's a sax player as well as a vocalist who also plays guitar, we call him America's only Chiropractic Saxologist.  She's the lovely, lovely, lovely, lovely  Kat, a talented multi instrumentalist who performs live on bass, sings,  gives the show its spiritual depth. Together they are the most woderfull couple on the face of this planet.  By the way, 'the Bob Song' is a tribute to some other Bob...

Roy (R.P.) Pollard is a drummer-vocalist who has been a fixture in the central Florida music scene for at least 35 years. Amazingly, he has not lost a bit of his energy and drive in that  time, and only changes in his hair length and preferred libations while performing mark the passage of time. Really long timers in the area may remember "Gladstone," one of his popular bands in the area.

Jimi Blak often co-fronts the band on guitar and harmonica.  Jimi is a Michigan transplant, a heavy hitter both in that area and a former road dog performer. Some  household name Michigan rockers oftenvisit him when they are down here in Florida. His retirement from the road life has not seemed to dim his intensity.  I'm not going to go in to Jimi's extensive list of credentials here, both on the national level as well as the club scene (Jimi, I've told you over and over, you've GOT to get a web site,)  I will say the energy he brings to the mix in incredible.  He always takes me to a new level. His solo performances of both his rhythm and blues covers as well as his comedy bits really make the evenings special, and our duets (You've Lost  that Lovin' Feeling, by the Righteous Brothers, and 'Bring it on Home' by Sam Cook,) never seem to amaze even jaded ole' me.

Most of the things we do as a band are community events and fundraisers, it's our form of community service.  Recently we headed the 'Movin' and Groovin' bill, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society which raised both the roof of the LP Mall and Museum and thousands of dollars to help fight cancer. Who knew doing good could be so much fun...
Every now and then, there is an occasion that demands 'the band.' I love it. I front, sing, play guitar, keyboards, harmonica, and have a lot of help going crazy onstage.

The members of 'Reese, the Band' may vary slightly,  but the core group is usually the same. Regular club patrons in my area (Highlands county in central Florida,) recognize the members as a kind of 'all star aggregation of the area's entertainers.  Some of the band have retired from full time performing, but still keep their skills sharp, others are still plugging along after all these years. The things we all have in common are the love of the same newstalgia music, the knack of having a great time, and the ability to transfer that feeling to the rest of the room.
