Phantom
My first song and not to be confused with the Phantom of the Opera...I've posted the lyrics to that first song, not for posterity, but just to remind folks how bad first songs can be...
Please remember, this was written by a 5th grader. Picture Dino,Desi and Billy without sophisticated production and studio musicians.
The song is pretty awful, but I do remember the teachers getting excited over the vocabulary and posting my lyrics in the local newspaper. I guess that's when I caught the song writing bug. Hopefully, my songs have gotten better over the years, although, if you take the words from 'the Bob Song,' they may have regressed...

Just a spectral shape receding, a parasite, that fed itself on me
