The "Showdown of Champions" PRCA Southeast Circuit Finals Rodeo will be held Friday the 10th at 8pm, Saturday the 11th at 3 pm and Sunday at 2 pm. in the fully covered 5000 seat Fred Smith arena in Brighton, Florida.
The 12 top touring SE Circuit PRCA cowboys and WPRA cowgirls in each rodeo event will compete for over $50,000 in prize money and right to represent the Circuit at the million dollar Dodge National Circuit Finals rodeo. The competitors will be traveling from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee to compete in the events of bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, team roping, barrel racing and bull riding.
The cowboys will be paired with the top livestock from 6 stock contractors based throughout the 9 state southeast circuit area. The bucking stock is voted on by the cowboys, with only the rankest chosen to compete. In addition, the contract personal such as the rodeo bull fighters, barrel clowns and announcer will be chosen by them as well.
