SEBRING - Anyone who has gone to local clubs to listen to music in the last 20 years or so has heard of Reese Thomas, or simply "Reese,  the multi-talented and often zany Sebring musician. For those who haven�t, Thomas is a one-man-band or "single act,  who often plays keyboards with one hand, guitar with the other and kicks bass pedals with his feet while singing everything from country to classic rock.

Thomas admitted it was unusual. "I play everything live,  he said. The bass pedals also change keys for back-up rhythms in his drum machine. His versatile style of singing is punctuated by comedy and impersonations of other well- known singers. His interaction with his audience is legend.

The 50-year-old with the glasses, the big smile and a thick mop of black hair, now sprinkled with gray, has been playing music professionally for 37 years. The last 20 have been in rodeo and related venues. "My first paying gig was when I was 13 years old, and Tommy and Dick Smothers were in the crowd,  he recalled.
