The $100,000 Brighton Field Days Festival Rodeo will be stocked and produced once again by Five Star Rodeo out of Davie Florida, a PRCA rodeo company that has been twice nominated for PRCA Rodeo company of the year. Five Star annually has livestock chosen to be featured at the nation Finals Rodeo in Los Vegas.
The Field Days Festival Rodeo is one of the largest prize money rodeos east of the Mississippi. Because of the huge payout, virtually all of the top ranked cowboys in the PRCA have entered it. Spectators converge from around the state to watch, the performances are often sold out the accompanying Festival often draws over 30,000 attendees.
Showtimes for the rodeo will be 7 pm Saturday, February 18, and 3 pm , Sunday the 19th. Tickets for the Rodeo include festival admission and are $10 advance, 12 at the gate . Children 12 and under are $5 advance, $7 at the gate, with kids 5-under free. Festival admission alone is $5. Advance tickets will be available at Polo Pets and Feed Supply in Wellington-West alm Beach area, West of Ole England in Stewart, The Trading Post in Brighton, the Seminole Casino in Brighton, Eddie Accardi Dodge in Okeechobee, Rustic Ranch Furniture in Okeechobee, Lake Placid Feed and Western, and all Eli's Western Wear locations.
Visitors to the festival will be able to enjoy alligator
wrestling, Native American dancers from all across
the North American Continent, a snake and reptile show and carnival rides .Spectators will also be treated to Seminole Indians wearing authentic tribal dress and a huge Native American arts and handicraft exposition. Food and beverages will be available throughout the festival and will include booths serving Seminole and other Native American foods as well as traditional dishes. Festival admission, available at the gate, is $5. The festival ticket does not include rodeo admission
